More than 1,100 parole decisions within the prison parole process were analysed in a year.

Prisoners schedules for earlier heaings receive parole 70% of the time, while prisoners scheduled for later hearin receive parole 10% of the time 

Our decision-making gets worse as we make choices and our cognitive abitilies get worn out.
