Negativity Bias

A study in 17 countries across 6 ocntinets examined the psychophysciological reactions to video news content and the effects of these on individuals. 

On average, globally people are physiologically more acitvated by negative news stories than positive ones. 

Adverse evenets have a more significant impact on our psychological state than positive ones.
