Enhance user engagement on an application

The challenge

Enhance attractiveness and engagement potential of an appplication aimed to change French people's behavior towards greater respect for the environment.

Our response

Multiple insights from behavioral science were integrated into the application all along the user journey (welcome page, interface structure, list of goals and challenges, notification management...) including:

- Personalized messaging which appears on the screen from the start of the user journey

- Different elements within the application like "taking action" were renamed to "challenge" to reframe the task and foster engagement

The results

220,000 application downloads were recorded. In addition, 1 million challenges were taken up from the list of 500 proposed commitments. 36,000 good addresses were recorded on the application including 5,000 provided by the community.
