After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Maastricht University in 2019, Marilena wanted to take a deeper dive into how human behaviour arises and is influenced. To understand consumer behaviour from a professional perspective, she worked in Germany for a PR agency and in the US for a market research company.
In 2020, her passion for evidence-based practice led her to complete an MSc in Behaviour Change at UCL. She is very interested in behaviours related to sustainability and health, nevertheless, her main objective is to translate the academic knowledge on behavioural science into real-world implementation. That is why the work of BVA Nudge Consulting resonated with her and she joined the UK team first as an intern and then as a full-time member from March 2022.
