Create a nudge building

The challenge

Design a user-centric building that helps residents adopt sustainable habits such as water conservation and energy saving.

Our response

A range of nudges were created to promote good and sustainable habits.

A few examples :

-A shower head whose color changes after 7 minutes of use to signal time spent under the shower and invite to end the shower;

-Matching stickers with characters that are reassembled when the radiator thermostat is set to an environmentally-friendly temperature.

The results

The proposal won the SEMAPA competition and the construction of the first Parisian ‘Nudge building’ began in the 13th district.
