The challenge

Support the creation of an environmental label to encourage its adoption by brands and consumers

Our response

A two-steps approach:

  • BVA conducted a state of the art to identify “lessons" from behavioral sciences and cognitive psychology in order to design a "system 1" environmental label (impactful and intuitive understanding) that promotes consumer literacy

  • Several workshops to concretely design the label

The results

BVA has designed a set of concrete recommendations on the form, name, colors, iconography and placement of the label on products
